Lincoln PTA Join Today

The Lincoln Parent Teacher Association (PTA), founded in 1950, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization - donations are tax deductible. The California PTA Mission Statement guides all our work. The primary focus of the Lincoln PTA is to build and support the Lincoln community for the benefit of all students. We hold many social and education events throughout the year that are open to all Lincoln families, including:

	Lincoln families shared their cultural heritage through food Date: September 28, 2023		Sponsored school walk with a carnival atmosphere Date: April 19, 2024
	Get our little Lions excited about reading Dates: October 23-27, 2023 & May 29-31, 2024		Evening of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math - learning made fun! Date: March 20, 2024
	All grades are encouraged to submit art projects of varying media Date: TBD		Students' time-honored line dance performance - BBQ provided by Dads Club! Date: May 17, 2024
	Kids show off their various talents! Date: May 1, 2024		Monthly pizza nights with Village Host and "give back" days with local businesses - a % goes to PTA Date: Check the Lincoln Links email each week for updates!

The PTA also assists with funding enrichment programs such as assembly speakers, the school newspaper, Teacher Appreciation Week, Green Team, Field Day, author visits, field trip expenses and some garden and library expenses.

Finally, the PTA is a major conduit of information via an updated school calendar, weekly Links newsletter, ad-hoc emails, Room Parent coordination, student directory and the Lincoln website.

Why join the PTA?

All Lincoln families are invited to attend monthly PTA meetings, whether or not you have joined the PTA. However, if you do join, you are entitled to vote on expenditure.
