2023/24 School Year Volunteer Requirements

We have many opportunities to welcome and involve families at Lincoln. However, we have strict safety requirements for volunteer approval. All volunteers who come to campus during school hours must have pre-approval by sending proof of fingerprint clearance. Please note: volunteers are no longer required to submit proof of negative TB results or proof of vaccination/booster.

Please email the BSD Volunteer team volunteer@burlingameschools.org and cc Mrs. Afshar lafshar@burlingameschools.org with proof of fingerprint clearance.

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE

If you previously submitted your fingerprints to the BSD, either for Lincoln, BIS, or any other BSD elementary school, BSD has them on file and you DO NOT need to do them again.

Go to a Live Scan location or any UPS store to have your prints done. BSD only requires your fingerprints once. If you have previously submitted your fingerprints to the BSD, either for Roosevelt, BIS, or any other BSD elementary school, BSD has them on file and you DO NOT need to do them again. BSD sends all of its staff to the UPS store in Burlingame Plaza. If you inform them that you are from the BSD, they will know exactly what to do.

FIELD TRIP CHAPERONE DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

We are thrilled to share that BSD is allowing parent drivers again! In order to chaperone a school event and drive students, you must complete the fingerprinting process (above) AND the Field Trip Driver Form.
